Until now, a show had one lower third — fine solo, a juggle with guests. Now every person you've saved gets their own overlay link, so each guest carries their own nameplate, all on screen at once. Here's the whole setup, start to air.
One animated lower third you trigger from the Hub with ▲ Show and ▼ Hide. Great for emphasis — introducing a topic, tagging a quote. Nothing about it changes.
A persistent name bar per person, each with its own overlay link. They sit under each camera and stay put — your switcher decides when they're on screen.
Head to Overlays → Lower Third. Type a name, title, and handle, then hit + Save current as identity. Do this once for each host and regular guest — they become chips in Saved identities, your show's roster.
Every identity chip now has a small 🔗 button. Click it and that person's overlay link is on your clipboard — you'll see a confirmation with their name. Each link is theirs alone and keeps working even if you rename them later.
You need to be signed in for the links to generate — they're wired to your workspace's database, which is what lets them update live.
In Ecamm Live, press ⌥⌘W to add a web overlay, then for each person:
Three people on screen means three web overlays, each with its own link, each parked under its own camera.
Nameplates live and die with your Ecamm scenes — include a plate in a scene and it's on screen there, cut to a scene without it and it's gone. No buttons to remember mid-show.
The Hub's ▲ Show / ▼ Hide buttons still drive only the fly-in — fire it for emphasis any time, and your guests' nameplates won't budge.
